Materials used in construction projects have to meet regulations and standards regarding their quality. Compliance with these standards is often mandatory and requires testing of the materials by an independent third party.

Department of Civil Engineering has several Construction Materials Laboratories, providing professional testing services. Our Construction Materials Testing Laboratories are the first choice when you require testing by an independent testing and inspection organization, advice on the quality of the materials.

With our advanced testing technologies and our experienced and qualified staff we offer total quality services and high-level expertise for commercial clients, government Deparments, Municipal Corporations and other institutions. Our Materials Testing Laboratory is Government approved.

Environment Audit Cell

Environment Audit is the need of the day, as it is an important environmental concern to protect the natural resources for our present as well as future generation. This can be done through a well planned strategy of environmental management. The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Ganghinagar, has awarded us Schedule-I Auditor to check and regulate the pollution emitted by various industries listed under hazardous waste, which pollute air, water and also causes noise pollution. We have experience and expertise of conducting environmental audit works for last more than ten years. We are also managing the environmental audit portfolios of the prime corporate houses and public ventures like IFFCO - Kandla, GEB - Ukai , Pandhro and Sikka, Pesticides India, Saurashtra cement , Gujarat Siddhi Cement, ESSAR Steel & Captive Power Plant- Surat and many more.
