The college has the privilege of signing a memorandum of understanding with Reliance Petroleum Ltd., Jamnagar - the largest petroleum complex in the world - for a two year contract for their in-house training program. Further, the college is the only institute in the Saurashtra & Kutch region which has been recognized by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board as Environmental Auditor - Schedule-I. We are also managing the environmental audit portfolios of the prime corporate houses and public ventures like IFFCO - Kandla, GEB - Ukai , Pandhro and Sikka, Pesticides India, Saurashtra cement , Gujarat Siddhi Cement, ESSAR Steel & Captive Power Plant- Surat and many more.

Testing is an ongoing activity at the college. We are well equipped with instruments required for physical and chemical analysis of industrial products. We can undertake analysis of oil-seeds and oil based products, coal, petroleum products, and minerals. In the year of 2001, about 60 irrigation dams were affected by earthquake. The soil samples of each dam have been tested out at soil-testing laboratory.

The Civil Engineering department of the college conducts physical testing of construction material like cement, steel, brick, tiles, metal, timber etc. The department also deals with mix design for concrete, bitumen for road paving, soil bearing capacity test and plate load test at laboratory as well as on site. The esteem customers of the department include R & B (State & Panchayat), Irrigation Department, Rajkot Urban Development Authorities, Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Western Railways and a number of other private sectors. The project of establishing of a new testing laboratory at a cost of Rs. 30,00,000/- by the Industries Department of Government of India is also on the cards.
